| Bentley, New York |
This is just heartbreaking!!
An elderly gentleman needs to give up his 8-1/2 year old TT due to having to move into an assisted living facility close to his wife of 50 years, who is in a rehab center with a spinal problem (sounds like she is never coming out). After repeatedly trying to find him a new home — and the placement falling through — the wife wanted the husband to euthanize him because she feared he would end up in the wrong hands... so sweet but yet so sad. This poor man is inconsolable — why don't these facilities allow dogs — this man is losing his wife and his dog!
Bentley is located in Queens/Long Island — he will be in 9 in November, up to date on his vaccines, neutered, housebroken, loves people (with an affinity towards women), loves balls, squeaky toys. He does okay with cats and would prefer to be the only dog. His is going to need a fenced yard.
